What are some healthy hand suggestions?

Try wearing elasticized gloves. I like the “Hand-Eze” gloves because they’re comfortable and seem to take a great deal of pressure off my hands. I turn them inside out, so I don’t get impressions of the seams on my hands.

Try to relax when stitching – don’t hold your needle to tightly. Stitching should be enjoyable relaxation, but we are often tense when we stitch.
Don’t stitch for long periods of time without exercising your hands. Drop them to the sides of your body and shake them. It increases the circulation in your hands and fingers.

Save your eyes – use a magnifier whenever possible. There are many styles available out there. And make sure you always have good lighting.
