Which is the right side of the fabric?

Most aidas and plain-weave fabrics do not have a right or wrong side. Obviously, texture-patterned fabrics, such as the Damasks, Novara, Gloria, etc., do have one side that is prettier than the other - check carefully before using. Given a choice, if your piece of fabric has a fold in it, use the inside of the fold as the right side - the fold line will be less obvious, if at all, after the piece is washed and ironed.
