How can I make my piece of fabric more workable? |
|||
| A
piece of aida that is so stiff that it will not go into your hoop doesn’t
need to be – just work it with your hands. After being rolled and folded
and crushed in your hands, it will soften up to the point where you will
be able to put it in a hoop. Washing it may soften it up, but may also
close up the holes and make it harder to work with in the long run. Information from Cross Country Stitching Magazine columns "Ask Judie" - Judie Solomon, Thistle Needleworks & "Carol’s Crafty Corner" - Carol Rice, The Craft Menagerie
